Studio Ella is led by Ella Bridgland. Before founding the studio, she achieved a first-class degree in Architecture and worked in London for the prestigious practices John McAslan + Partners, Tom Dixon, and Studio Ashby. After relocating to Hong Kong in 2017, she led the studio as an Associate for one of Asia’s top design firms, Joyce Wang Studio.
With over a decade of experience working on a range of global projects, Ella has worked with world-class clients such as Knight Dragon, Maybourne Hotel Group, Accor, Native Land, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Chow Tai Fook, Black Sheep Restaurant Group, Dining Concepts, Westbank, Six Senses, Hyatt Group, Virgin Atlantic, Galaxy Entertainment Group, Jackalope Group along with many private clients.

Interior Architecture
From concept through to completion, we provide full interior architecture packages, confidently handling every stage of the design, construction and styling process. Through our extensive network and strong relationships with artists, fabricators, designers and specialists, our interiors are defined by an eclectic amalgamation of art, antiques, furniture, lighting and materials that are unique to each project.
Art
We believe art is a vital component of every interior and it inspires everything that we do. With intimate connections and knowledge of the market, our art advisory offers consultation services for acquisition, collection management, curation and commissioning. Specialising in 20th-century and contemporary art, our extensive network of practitioners and artists results in meaningful acquisitions, cohesive collaborations and monumental projects.
Design
We design and produce bespoke furniture, lighting, joinery and surfaces specific to our clients requirements. We are precision driven and passionate about the beauty of functionality. Every new brief takes us on a journey of exploration and we relish in this creative process. Grounded by research, our work is defined by our process and a design attitude that we apply across multiple typologies.
